First Entry!

Ok...first journal entry! I have had my journal for about four days now, and not yet have I written one word in it. I am supposed to be working on a web page, but I don't think that is going to happen right now. I suppose I should write about my weekend. I went to prom this weekend. I had my best friend, Brittany, come down from Flagstaff to go with me to prom. She went with my cousin Aaron. I was supposed to go with a used-to-be-but-is-no-longer(i think?) best guy friend. He dumped me about two and a half weeks ago, right before Easter, then the next week told me that he really didn't even want to be friends any longer. I ended up taking his sister Marcia and a another girl, Jessica, jumped in with our group. Matt was there when I went to pick Marcia up. I caught him looking at me a couple times. I really don't know what his problem is. I have a strong suspicion that it is a possibility that he is afraid of what has been going on between us this year, but I also have a strong feeling that I should just forget about him and move on. Speaking of moving on...back to prom. We ended up sneaking in accidentally, which kinda sucked because we all paid for tickets anyways. Didn't do much dancing, my cousin and Marcia made me feel pretty self conscious. We had fun though. They had these cool little strawberry men- the were chocolate dipped strawberries that had little tuxes done on them and lots of sodas. Apparently they had virgin drinks too-pen bar, but we didn't notice them. We basically just got pictures and left. We went to our post-prom party that I had organized at Brittany's hotel and played poker. Over all the night was a success, but I would have been more satisfied if Matt had gone. *does shoulder shrug* Life goes on. Now I must go work on my web page.
