Boys Suck!
*sigh*... haven't spoken to David in like, two days. I feel like some stupid lovesick eighth grader or something. I don't know what my problem is. I don't even know if we are actually going out. And I think I pissed him off this weekend when I did my whole stupid guilt trip thing. Of course, that could just be me being paranoid. I talked to him Monday night and he didn't seem too upset about it, but then he didn't seem anything. He was tired. Not just tired, but worn out. I didn't talk to him long cause I would say something and he would anwser with as few words as possible and then fall silent. I can stand silence around him, though it is a little odd on the phone, but it felt strange Monday. Oui...Anyways...my roommate is back so I shall talk to her instead of whine online.

The Words!! The Terrible, Evil Words!!
I have been reading for the past five hours. Not fun reading either, although I won't say the subject matter is uninteresting- just terribly slow and painful reading. I have managed to get behind in the reading for my War, Memory and Culture learning block class, which means that I had to read a long chapter from a theoretical/history book on wars, a small section about American life during the late thirties and early forties, and a section on American-Chinese-Japanese relations of the thirties. And I still have about a hundred pages on the Japanese view of American actions. Last week I also had a two chapters of positively painful philosophy on the "Ethics of Memory" and chapter from the war theory book, which I put off until today, and because of my procrastination I managed to convince myself I had to read chapters one through three instead of one and three, so about half-way through chapter two I decided to look at my syllabus and realized my mistake. This of course lead to the inevitable(or was it really inevitable?) half hour of complaining about the wasted time reading unnecessary material. And for those who claim that they can read anywhere- your one little statement tells a LOT about where you have tried to study. A dorm room is almost certainly not on your list of places you have tried. Of course, I won't claim it is impossible to study in a dorm, but I will say it is definitely difficult. Damn. Now I have to proof-read my journal entry. To avoid too much more reading, I will sign off shortly.Felicia

Blah blah blah...(warning - rambling or incoherent material very likely)
Figured it was prolly about time to update. Not too much has been going on. I am slowly evolving to the idea of dorm life. It was a little lonely at first, but as the week wore on I started talking to my suite mate Amber and I even got a room mate. Her name is Bernadette. She seems pretty nice, and will probably be pretty easy to live with. Her mom and neighbors got my TV set up how I wanted it. When I first brought it I couldn't put it where I wanted it cause it was about six inches too long to fit, but Paul, Bernadettes old neighbor, cut and even painted a piece of wood then drilled it on and even helped fix up the cables and stuff. And I also finally got David down here...I've been trying since I moved in, but he would either have to work late or early or go to school the next morning, so it was kinda hard. He even came down here one day but ended up going back cause he couldn't find me and my phone was off when he called- I don't know how it happened but that kinda sucked. Last night was fun though. We went to the MU and played three games of pool- he won the first, I won the second, and he scratched on the third. The entire experience took almost two hours...we are both really bad, but it was fun. Then we played a whole bunch of the video games there and he played PacMan(he was really good- it was funny) and we played air hockey. I, being the air hockey queen, won both games we played, of course. We also got movies and stayed up late watching them, then snuggled up and went to sleep. Other than that I haven't been up to too much, with the exception of getting behind in my reading and other homework. Next week I will probably update more because I will finally have my computer hooked up in my room, so hasta la vista!Felicia

Moved out!
I am offically moved out now. I actually did most of my moving in on Friday. Mom woke me up at eight, we go my stuff ready and left around one, and started bringing it up to my room. Then I locked moms keys in the car, so we spent the rest of the day unpacking what I got up and just waiting around for rick to come with the extra key. I also have no roommate. I guess she decided she didn't wanna go to ASU, so now I am roomieless. Proabably I shall have one by the end of the week. It was kinda lonely at first but I'm getting used to it. I would like to know if someone is gonna move in or not though cause I would like to do something with all the extra space if not. On another note, I bought an autographed copy of To the Nines, the latest installment in the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. And I have decided that although it would be fun to be Stephanie Plum (hey that rhymes!...kinda...), I probably would not like it. She is a bit insecure... that isn't all that fun. But she does have hot boyfriends!Still not sure how it is going with David. I have been talking on the phone with him pretty much every night and I have decided that even though he lives over in Mesa and prolly won't party with me he will still be a good boyfriend. I have also decided that I definatly do want him as a boyfriend. And we engage in couple like activities, like making out in front of groups of people (~.^) often, but we still are not technically dating. I suppose that shall be decided pretty soon. As it is right now, I am rambling, and I have many more places where I can go look for free stuff, so until later!Felicia
